Wow! This hotel is mind-blowing. it is located right on the seafront, making it super convenient for a stroll into town. The room size was unexpectedly good, with a working fridge that was a lifesaver. In an area known for pesky mozzies, the mesh screen and insect killing plug in were jaw-droppingly useful. The nearby restaurant on the dock served incredible food, and the hotel's location near the Marina and Tourlinda was a bonus. The balcony offered a delightful view, and the hotel's retro 70's style, while not updated, added a unique charm. The friendly staff ensured a clean and comfortable room at a reasonable price. The powerful, hot shower was a welcome surprise, and with plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance, it was a super choice for a short stay.

The hotel is like stepping back in timeto the 60's or 70'S. If you watch the tv series 'Mad Men', you could easily picture them filming a scene there. It's well kept, as ageing decor goes. The food is quite tasty (order 'Tsipoura' fish, a local speciality) and at least one waiter is a charming eccentric, a good exponent of filoxenia (Hospitality and friendliness). It's also right near Tourlida, a great, white sandy beach, free of tourists but full of friendly locals who seem to love foreign visitors.
The receptionists have limited to no English - which is fine if you want to practice your Greek. The night receptionist does speak better english than the day receptionists. But whatever language you spoke to the day receptionist, he and his lady colleague didn't respond well to us asking if they had leaflets or info on the local area - which they hadn'T. They also seemed aggrieved that we asked them where we could get a map, because when we asked if they had one to spare, they just shook their heads.

Located in a very picturesque spot on lagoon. Was a convenient place for us to stay one night on our way from Athens to the north. .
Hotel is quite old and shabby looking, but very clean.

Nice staff, decent breakfast, close to the sea.
Very old hotel, needs renovation, noisy partying guests keeping you up at night.

This is acceptable hotel when you need to stay in that region because there are not too many choice. It is very good for staying a night. It is not very new and the room shows outdated bathroom. But it has all the necessary things - a/c, shower, comfortable beds.

The hotel is located in a great spot, very close to the lagoon and waterside, providing easy access to scenic views and a selection of good restaurants nearby. the rooms are of good size and comfortable, with some offering excellent views. the staff is friendly and polite, providing professional service. Despite the average breakfast, there are a few decent options like fresh fruit and omelettes. the hotel offers facilities like a clean top sheet on the bed and hot water.
The hotel lacks proper room insulation, resulting in poor soundproofing.

During my stay at Theoxenia Anex in Missolonghi, I appreciated two key features. the provided database was incredibly helpful, allowing me to easily access information about the hotel and its amenities. It was a convenient tool for planning my stay and exploring nearby attractions. the room itself was equipped with a tiny terrace, providing a pleasant spot to relax and enjoy a partial view of the lagoon. This added a touch of tranquility to my stay.
On the other hand, one minor downside I encountered was the outdated and tired condition of the room. The room featured a standard double bed, which was comfortable enough, but unfortunately, the overall decor and furnishings were in need of updating.

Nice old hotel in a great location for sightseeing.
Make sure that during your stay they don't have any outdoor parties. They are loud and go all night.

the location was incredible - right by the sea in a beautiful park. I loved waking up to the stunning views over the lagoon from my room's balcony. Secondly, the staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. They made me feel welcomed from the moment I arrived. Lastly, the price was very reasonable, making it great value for money. I was impressed with the attention to detail and the basic amenities provided.
All was great!

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. The shower was hot and powerful, and the hotel is within walking distance of bars and restaurants on the waterfront. The area is lovely, with a marina nearby and good transportation options. We also enjoyed the nice views from our balcony.
Nothing, everything was great.
